BEGOÑA SILVAN URIARTE

Presentation

She obtained her bachelor degree in Physics by the University of the Basque Country in 2015. She did a summer internship in the Materials Physics Center during here degree, on the study of quantum dots. On the summer of 2015 she started a summer internship in CIC energiGUNE, on the study of iron rich layered oxides as cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries. This work continued during the academic year 2015-2016, as a student in the Master in New Materials (University of the Basque Country). In 2016 she started her Ph.D. studies, continuing with the layered oxides as cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries, with the objective of trying to understand the charge storage mechanism of these materials.
