ESTIBALIZ GARCIA GAITAN

Presentation

Estíbaliz received her B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country in 2015 (San Sebastian, Spain). She finished her MS in "Applied Chemistry and Polymeric Materials" in July 2016 specializing in Polymeric Materials. She did her Master´s thesis "Effect of the content of graphene on the thermal properties of polylactic acid (PLA)" in the Department of Synthesis and Characterization of Polymeric Nanocomposites at the University of the Basque Country. In September 2016 she started working in Graphenea (San Sebastian, Spain) in the Graphene Oxide Research Group. In January 2018, Estíbaliz took part in Bioelectronics Group of Professor George Malliaras at University of Cambridge (UK) as a visiting researcher. She developed and characterized electrochemically sensitive conductive polymers/enzyme-based biosensor for bioelectronics applications. In September 2018 she started working at CIC energiGUNE as Lab Technician in the area of Power storage. She is currently a PhD student at CIC energiGUNE in the area of Power storage, in Metal-Air line.
