Jaione Martínez de Ilarduya obtained her title of Chemical Engineering in 2014 at the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao (ETSI). She collaborated in the project ‘Hydrogen production by steam-reforming of bio-oil model compounds' while she was doing her final career project, in SuPrEn (Sustainable Process Engineering) research group of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Environment (ETSI). After that, she obtained her Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at ‘Facultad de Ciencia y Tecnología' (Leioa). She did her Master Thesis at CIC Energigune, ‘From material to cell-case of sodium ion battery using layered oxides as cathode'.
Currently, she is a PhD student, at CIC Energigune, in the research group of Device Engineering. Her research is focused in the optimization of the process parameters involved in the fabrication of rechargeable batteries.
