Marine Reynaud completed her Ph.D. in Material Sciences in 2013 at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens, France). Prior to her Ph.D., Marine Reynaud studied at Chimie ParisTech, where she received in 2010 a French "Diplôme d'Ingénieur" (conferring a M.Sc. in Chemical Science and Engineering degree, Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris, France) and a Master in Chemistry "Paris Centre" with a speciality in Electrochemistry and Energy (Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris VI, France).

As part of her graduate education at Chimie ParisTech, she spent six months at IK4-IKERLAN research center, where she was in charge of the characterization and evaluation of several solid oxides for their implementation in Solid-Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs). Later, for her final year project, she worked with Pr. Jean-Marie Tarascon at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens, France) on the synthesis and characterization of different sodium- and lithium-based fluorosulfates, and she spent one month in the group of Clare Grey at Stony Brook University (New-York, U.S.A.) for performing solid-state NMR measurements on these compounds. Then, she prepared her Ph.D. thesis with Jean-Marie Tarascon, Jean-Noël Chotard (Université de Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens, France) and Gwenaëlle Rousse (Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France), focusing her research on the preparation of new bimetallic sulfates for high-voltage electrode materials.

Marine Reynaud has expertise in inorganic syntheses of polyanionic compounds and structural determination using X-ray and Neutron powder diffraction. She also has experience in electrochemical characterizations, magnetic measurements and Mössbauer spectroscopy.

She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at CIC Energigune, where she pursues her research on new Li- and Na-based electrode materials for rechargeable batteries.
